4 FLC Players headed to the championship game of the ASPAC tournament

Lucas Quintiao, Xavier Fiorentini, Steph Kelly and Eliza Morgan are all currently representing Australia at the ASPAC lacrosse tournament in South Korea. The ASPAC tournament is for under 23 players to represent Australia against competition from the Asia Pacific region.

The men’s side of the draw has been dominated by Australia and Japan with Australia just being beaten by Japan 12-8 in a close group game. Now that all of the group rounds are done Australia have booked a spot in the championship game against Japan where they will get a chance to avenge their group game loss.

The women’s side of the draw has been very similar to the men’s with Australia losing their group game to Japan 12-5 and then winning comfortably against all other teams. With the group games done Australia have booked a spot in the championship game against Japan, lets hope both the men and women can turn around their group game losses and come home with a championship.

Best of luck Lucas, Xavier, Eliza and Steph from everyone at FLC!
