Members work together to drive Strategic Plan forward

More than 40 FLC members gathered at the Angliss Reserve clubrooms on Sunday, August 1 as part of a strategic plan process.

Players, parents, life members and committee members were part of a group that came together to take the first steps in an important phase for the club.

Footscray Hockey Club’s Nicole Virtuoso led the planning session, bringing her experience from her club to the session.

Earlier in the year, the FLC committee decided to undertake the process of creating a five-year strategic plan. The plan will set clear goals of what the club should aim to achieve, and how it can do so.

It is hoped that from the review, the club can continue its growth both within the local community and in the Victorian and Australian lacrosse landscape.

FLC would like to thank Nicole for her time and effort, as well as all members that attended on the day.

Following the planning session, the committee will meet to formulate the ideas expressed into tangible targets and goals in the shape of a strategic plan.
